Firstly, you decide that you want some direct, focussed help getting fitter, healthier, slimmer, or whatever your reason or objectives might be. Then you need to make sure you choose only qualified, insured personal trainers who are experienced and familiar with the demands of people with busy lives. All D.Leigh Systems trainers are qualified to level 3 , and all have public liability insrance cover.
Once you have made the initial contact by phone or email, our enquiry administrator will take you through the pricing and payment process (which as you'll find is very flexible). They will also arrange for a trainer near you to call and arrange a free no obligation consultation, at a time and location to suit your other commitments.
The consultation will be your chance to interview the trainer to make sure you are firstly going to get along, but also to give you the comfort that they will design a programme to suit your requirements, which is going to be both challenging and achievable. It will also give the trainer the opportunity to go through a client questionnaire with you to assess your current fitness levels, and health status, this will include a blood pressure test and lung capacity assessment. If you have any special health requirements, we may ask your permission to write to your GP to get his consent prior to the training programme actually starting. All this is very general but necessary stuff, nothing to be alarmed about at all.
If you're happy with everything once your consultation is complete, simply agree the number of sessions with the trainer (you may want to have just one session, or maybe sign up for 5 or even 96 we offer discounts for block bookings..!). They will confirm the total cost, credit/debit cards and cheques all welcome, provide you with a letter of acceptance confirming the arrangements as well as leaving a client agreement form with you. You should read this carefully and then sign and return ideally either before on at your first session.
D.Leigh Systems trainers generally work with you at home or in one of our affiliate local gyms or Leisure Centres.
You could maximise the facilities in your local surroundings, a local park, a gentle jog around the block, running a mile is an ahcievement in itself and may only take you between 8 or 10 minutes depending on your fitness background.

As an ongoing client, you may find it easier to purchase multi-session packs, or even pay monthly, and we are glad to make those options available for you. We accept payment by cash, cheque, credit or debit cards to make the whole experience more affordable and flexible.
